‘I’ve Never Enjoyed Seyi Tinubu as a Friend’ Lege Miami Laments ( VIDEO )

Nollywood actor and social media personality, Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, has stirred reactions after publicly lamenting that he has never benefited from his long-publicised friendship with Seyi Tinubu.

Lege, who is known for frequently mentioning his closeness to the President’s son, said during a recent Instagram live session that despite defending Seyi Tinubu across social media and even spending his own money while promoting the relationship, he has not enjoyed any true support in return.

The actor, visibly emotional, said he had exhausted his personal funds, especially those he earned from his matchmaking programme, all in an attempt to maintain and defend his association with Seyi.

According to him:

“I’ve never enjoyed Seyi as a friend. I’ve spent all my matchmaking money on this. I keep saying ‘I’m Seyi Tinubu’s friend,’ but what exactly am I gaining?”

Lege also expressed frustration over the pressure he receives from fans who assume he is benefiting financially or politically from the Tinubu family due to his constant public praise of Seyi.

He said many people expect him to show signs of influence or wealth because of the association, but in reality, he insists he is “on his own.”

The actor added that he has consistently supported Seyi Tinubu in public, defended him in online arguments, and aligned himself with the President’s political movement, but has yet to receive any form of acknowledgement or assistance.

Social media users have since reacted in mixed tones. While some sympathised with Lege Miami, saying friendships do not always guarantee rewards, others argued that he set himself up by repeatedly declaring loyalty where no clear relationship existed.

Some critics mocked the actor, saying that his constant public displays of allegiance were driven by expectations of favour, which have now backfired.

A user wrote:

“If you say someone is your friend because of what you expect to gain, don’t be surprised when you’re disappointed.”

Another commented:

“Lege talks about Seyi Tinubu more than Seyi talks about himself. He should rest.”

Despite the backlash, Lege Miami maintained that he has no ill feelings toward Seyi Tinubu but emphasised that he cannot continue to fund a friendship that brings him no visible value.

For now, Seyi Tinubu has not issued any response regarding Lege Miami’s public lamentation.
