In a dramatic unfolding of personal crisis, celebrated actress Regina Daniels alleges that her husband, Ned Nwoko—a senator and wealthy businessman ordered the arrest of her elder brother and sister, with her younger sister reportedly facing imminent detention.

Regina described a sequence of events she says were meant to compel her return to a rehabilitation programme allegedly demanded by her husband. In her words:

The actress claimed that her husband labelled her a drug addict and used that narrative to push for a rehabilitation intervention. She challenged the accusation head-on:
“You said I’m a drug addict. Me I use am rob body sir! What other name can you call me? A prostitute? But I will speak on that one day and tell the world your involvement with everything!”
Her post went on to call out what she framed as intimidation tactics:
“Leave my family alone, Ned! And leave me alone too! It is obvious it’s war.”
She indicated that until she complied with the rehabilitation demand, her siblings would remain in detention.
