“I Have Been Single Forever” — Omah Lay

This new statement contradicts the singer’s earlier confidence about enjoying life alone.

In January 2024, when speaking to fans about dating, Omah Lay said:

“No. I have been single forever… I enjoy it. And I want to stay that way for God knows how long.”

But things have clearly changed.

Months later, he shared a more vulnerable side. According to Daily Post Nigeria, he previously admitted:

“I don’t feel loved… I feel empty sometimes.”

This shift from “I’m happy alone” to “I’m bored of being alone” shows a different Omah Lay — one who might finally be open to love.

“Make we apply for the girlfriend position. Our man is tired.”

Another joked:

“Omah Lay wants love. Ladies, assemble!”

Being a celebrity in Nigeria’s entertainment industry comes with expectations fans expect updates on success, music, and increasingly… relationships.

Single life may have been peaceful for a while, but it seems Omah Lay has hit his limit.

His own words say it all:

“Yeah, I got no girls…”

From enjoying solitude to openly craving connection, Omah Lay is proving that even stars get lonely.

Whether love finds him soon or not  the journey will surely inspire the music.
