Authorities in Abuja have launched an investigation after a man identified as Mr. Louis Nwachukwu, an employee of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), was found dead in a hotel room in Mpape, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Global hints reports.
According to sources cited by DAILY POST, the man, Mr. Nwachukwu had checked into the hotel with a woman identified as Miss Helen Raymond shortly before his death.
While the exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed, Miss Raymond reportedly told police that the deceased fell asleep and failed to wake up after they had sexual intercourse.
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident but declined to provide further details, stating, “We are investigating.”
Mr. Nwachukwu’s body has since been deposited in a mortuary, and autopsy results are expected to help determine the cause of death.
