Iyabo Ojo clears the air on her issue with Naira Marley, DJ Splash’s shocking claims, and her IG Live response to VDM’s group controversy.

Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo and controversial singer Naira Marley are back in the news not for entertainment, but over allegations, group chats, and the fight for justice surrounding late singer Mohbad.
In a revealing Instagram Live session, Iyabo Ojo addressed multiple issues, including her fallout with the Justice for Mohbad group and the shocking story of how her son Festus was once allegedly drugged at Naira Marley’s residence.
During her IG Live, Iyabo Ojo clarified that she is no longer part of the private group chat formed in support of Justice for Mohbad. This was in response to accusations made by VeryDarkMan (VDM), who claimed the group was biased or being manipulated.
According to Iyabo, she exited the group weeks ago due to ongoing issues with Samklef and Dre, two individuals she says caused internal problems.
“I quietly left because I didn’t like the direction it was going,” she said.

Iyabo Ojo firmly denied that she led any movement to “cancel” Naira Marley after Mohbad’s death.
“Let’s be honest — it’s Nigerians who are rejecting Naira Marley, not me,” she stated.
She insisted that public sentiment turned against the Marlian boss due to the overwhelming outrage and evidence that surfaced online, especially after DJ Splash’s health concerns and other testimonies linked to the Marlian camp.
IYABO OJO AND DJ SPLASH
In the most shocking part of her live session, Iyabo Ojo recounted a private conversation with DJ Splash, former in-house DJ at Marlian Music. According to her, DJ Splash told her a disturbing story involving her son Festus.
DJ Splash allegedly told Iyabo that when Festus once visited the Marlian house, he was unknowingly served food laced with a white substance something the DJ described as “their lifestyle in the house”. After eating, Festus reportedly began acting strangely, and it was DJ Splash who took him to the toilet and cleaned him up until he was stable again.
After the incident, DJ Splash said he warned Festus never to return to the Marlian residence.
“That story broke me,” Iyabo said. “That’s where my problem with Naira Marley started.”

Iyabo Ojo vs Naira Marley: The Real Reason Behind Their Ongoing Clash
While many online assumed that Iyabo Ojo’s issue with Naira Marley was about clout or personal vendetta, her live session paints a different picture. The actress made it clear that her focus remains on justice for Mohbad and protecting young people from harmful influences.
She also emphasized that her voice in the matter comes from a place of motherhood, concern, and public accountability not from showbiz rivalry or online drama.
This ongoing clash between Iyabo Ojo and Naira Marley continues to stir strong emotions across Nigeria. But one thing is clear — it’s no longer just about celebrity beef. With claims of drug use, mental breakdowns, and lost lives, the feud touches on deeper issues of accountability in the entertainment industry.
