Applications open for National Poverty Eradication Programme

Applicants are now invited to submit applications for the National Poverty Eradication Programme by the Nigerian government to address poverty in Nigeria and related issues, Global hints reports

National Poverty Eradication Programme is concerned with the transformation of the society in its totality, making nigerians the primary focus of its development. More specifically, it aims ultimately at the maximum improvement of the material, cultural, social and political wellbeing of the society.

Its Social and economical development, embraces the rural and urban populace, by enhancing its beneficiaries to fulfill existing economical challenge changing their social expectations in achieving various goals. NAPEP goals include training youths in vocational trades, to support with internship grants, to support micro-credit, create employment in the automobile and other industries.

Funding Information National Poverty Eradication Programme

All selected beneficiaries will receive a monthly stipend of ₦100,000 paid by National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) subject to achieving planned results for each month.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
Must have National Identification number NIN as a valid form of identification to be validated with NIMC.
Must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
Must have at the point of this application obtained at least the The O-Level (Ordinary Level) subject-based qualification conferred as part of the General Certificate of Education.

Selection Criteria

The selection process for NAPEP is as follows:

Intrested applicants should submit an application electronically through the application page. Applications submitted through any other medium will not be considered.

Applicants will be required to carefully review the selection criteria before beginning the application process. Only applicants that meet the minimum requirements will be considered for the next stages of the selection process.
It is required of all applicants who has demonstrated keen intrest in NAPEP program submit and validate their National Identification Number NIN in the course of the application.

NAPEP management team will review all of the submissions and produce a long list that will proceed to the next stage, before final selection.

Given the expected high volume of applicants, the programme will only communicate to successful candidates.
