Goa has been thrown into drama again! The Goa Crime Branch arrested a Nigerian man identified as Chinedu Amos a.k.a. Victor Igwe (42) after he was caught red-handed in Mapusa with ₦1.9 million worth of cocaine neatly packed in a transparent bag.

Sources say Amos has been living in Baga and already has two NDPS cases hanging over his head. The new arrest has shocked many locals who claim he was often seen around party zones.
According to police reports, the operation was a targeted late-night raid based on a solid tip-off. Officers seized 10.79 grams of cocaine, believed to be intended for distribution in the area.

After his arrest, Amos was quickly presented before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Mapusa, where he was remanded for five days to allow police to dig deeper into his network.
Authorities say more arrests could follow as they investigate the source and supply chain of the drugs. The bust comes amid rising concerns over foreign nationals involved in Goa’s party-scene drug trade.
