Nigerian music legend, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has been appointed as the Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach to the Benue State Government.
Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia made the announcement in a video circulating online, commending the Benue-born superstar for his consistent support and enduring impact on the entertainment industry and his home state.
“Let me thank you very deeply for supporting my administration and for preparing me for 2027,” Governor Alia said during the announcement. He added, “You are a guru of entertainment. Once you say 2Face, people start dancing, even without the song.”
The governor explained that the appointment aims to harness 2Baba’s influence, creativity, and deep connection with the people to advance the administration’s outreach efforts and cultural initiatives.
2Baba, a native of Benue State, has long been celebrated not only for his musical success but also for his advocacy on social issues and community development.
